Watercolour Workshop: Painting Flowers

Working from a combination of real flowers and photos of flowers we will develop a large composition.

Sophie will demonstrate some of her own techniques for painting flowers. We will approach this subject with as much energy as a landscape, drawing with the brush, looking at colour combinations and generally allowing all our creativity to tackle this lovely subject.

Materials List

• No need to stretch paper
• Bring any loose individual sheets A1 size
• I recommend lightweight such as Saunders Waterford/ 200 grams in Not texture or Archers 140 lbs 
• I recommend tubes of paint rather than pans / this will be better for the techniques I will be demonstrating for you
• A selection of brushes including a large round brush.
